Twisted Evil I propose a possiblity to the Antioch community, that is if i could get hold of all the work that was done on Antioch 3, i may have the skills to finish the trilogy to the level of its original creators. If possible can it be done with the permission to do so, if not why? Confused

It's a good idea, but it was already discussed three years ago, and it's not likely to happen.

You are not the first one to propose a similar idea. There is the problem that authors are still around here, and it's unlikely they are willing to give their baby to someone else. Let's not forget that it is doubfult you may be able to talk like Turmalis.

If it hasn't been done by any of the fans who've stuck with it for years after its death, it's certainly not going to be done by some newbie who has yet to back up his claims that he's just as skilled as Auspex, something that VERY few campaign-makers are.

EDIT: By the way, you've already posted a message on the board. There's no reason to PM everyone WITH THE EXACT SAME MESSAGE.

If Antioch 3 came out today, completely finished, like Athena bursting out of Zeus' noggin, I honestly wouldn't give enough of a shit to reinstall Starcraft. It's the 21st goddamn century, people.

And it's not like guys who know how to use Star- and CoolEdit and aren't distracted by goddess tail are some kind of missing link that scientists have been hunting for centuries. Why does every kid who's tossed together a Zergling Madness map think he's Auspex?

Also, this dude is why I want to get rid of smilies.

Um.

EDIT:

Typhoon: Can I have my razzynathan.jpg avatar back? Please?

And do you foresee any time in the discernible future when I will once again have full control over my profile?

It seems the one SC thing he's done doesn't even show up in a Google search.

In other news, I'm listening to The Pixies' "Where is My Mind?" pretty much on repeat as I revise an English paper.

Good song.

As for you, Auric_Skyreaver, go for it. Though I doubt anyone here would play it. And you'd never get the A3 material, so you'd have to go from scratch. And no one here would likely help you.

But other than that, go for it.

So what's the Order of the Force Majour website? It certainly doesn't have the campaign's title in it, else it would've turned up in Google.

None of us are going to take you the least bit seriously until you can prove that you actually have the skill to make A3, and even then we'll still probably laugh at you on general principle, considering we've had access to the A3 materials and one of the co-creators for years, and we still haven't done it. What makes you think you can?

Just a tip, reasonable grammer and formatting would help people take you seriousely. Also, no one will listen if you keep abusing smileys. This is Antioch, its not like other forums. We're a bunch of elitest snobs who demand perfection.

Actually that is like other forums. But we're elitest spelling snobs.

The bottom line is, we assume we are better than those who cannot spell. Conform, or no one here will respect you.
